The Ultimate Budgetnista Fashionista

I am no different from many women in that I love shoes, handbags and jewelry. I’m also no different from many women in that my finances don’t allow me to indulge in these fetishes to my heart’s delight.

I am a mom and a budding entrepreneur, who prides herself on living lavishly practical on a limited budget. A VERY LIMITED BUDGET.

I remember as a little girl pretending that my dolls and I were living in this luxurious doll penthouse. In reality, I was occupying a make-shift contraption made of cardboard, one that I decorated very tastefully for a 10-year-old girl. It was my prized possession of real estate, a place where my imagination was allowed to run wild. Priceless.

Since I don’t possess Trump, Oprah or Gates money, I tend to allow my adult imagination, rather than my credit cards to also run wild when it comes to certain purchases. I consider myself to be more of a saver, than a spender. Some call it being frugal; I call it being logical, especially when I have a college tuition bill coming my way for the next four years.
