Forward-Thinking

Those who dwell too much on the past rarely make very good leaders, as this state of mind actually makes it much more difficult to do the right thing as it relates to the future. You need be forward-thinking if you are to be the best leader you can be, as looking to the future will ensure that you take the best possible action, rather than focusing on what you might have done right or wrong in the past.
